1st QRP Parks On The Air (POTA) event

Yesterday I conducted my 1st low power (QRP - 5w) POTA activation at Snake Den State Park K-2880 here in my hometown of Johnston, Rhode Island. I had forty-two contacts. There were contacts as far west as Minnesota and as far east as Spain, as far south as Florida and as far north as Toronto. I had excellent audio reports with my X6100 and the sparkplug antenna. I am thinking QRP is my new preferred mode for POTA.
